Wary Blue Heron

I spotted this Blue Heron at the far edge of a pond through my zoom lens near Bluffers Park (Toronto, Canada) carefully stalking its next prey. Amazing to see how these prehistoric looking creatures can remain so still while patiently awaiting their chance to strike.
