Vibrant Burano

Burano, an island inside the picturesque Venetian lagoon, can be easily (and pleasantly) reached by boat from Venice. Home to generations of fishing families and expert embroidery makers, this vibrant place may be a somewhat scaled down version of its famous 'neighbour', but it is equally beautiful and historic.
